World Cancer Day

World Cancer Day is very significant for us as we convey to the world our message of commitment, love, strength and hope to prevent and cure cancer, and relieve the pain when the battle is lost not before fighting it very hard.” — Manuel Maldonado Rodriguez – Liga Contra el Cáncer, Honduras.
World Cancer Day 2016-2018 will explore how everyone – as a collective or as individuals – can do their part to reduce the global burden of cancer.

Just as cancer is able to affect every single person in different ways, everyone then holds the power to take various actions in order to reduce the impact that cancer has on individuals, families and communities.

World Cancer Day is a chance to reflect on what you can do, make a pledge and take action. Whatever you choose to do ‘We can. I can.’ make a difference to the fight against cancer. For more information about World Cancer Day, you can visit the website www.worldcancerday.org

You can also challenge your knowledge about cancer by participating in our Short Quiz! The quiz can be accessed through this link:
