Heavy flooding in Indonesia has called action withing AMSA-International. AMSA will soon channel funds to the recovery effort in Indonesia as each chapter starts to rally donations, as per protocol established in the Tokyo Declaration.

Official Letter released in response to Jakarta Flood
The flood has already claimed the lives of at least 12 people at time of announcement. The following weeks to months will see the slow recovery of infrastructure and rehabilitation of patients who have been injured or fallen ill as result of the flooding. Please consider the many different avenues of supporting this cause. Examples include:
- The collection of monetary donations, tinned or dried food (to be forwarded to your Regional Chairperson)
- Following and sharing AMSA’s relief efforts on Facebook
- Letters of support for the flood recovery to be sent or published in the public arena
