Jackie's bio

I am a 4th Year medical student who originally studied in International Medical University, Malaysia, but is now continuing my clinical years at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. I am a person who likes to keep myself busy because to me, life is short, we should always live to our fullest every day. I actively participated in many different extra-curricular activities ever since primary schools because I do think that school life should be filled with different colours other than textbooks. Other than serious responsibilities, I am one of the odd girls who like to play games. I would appreciate if anyone has good electronic games to recommend. I am happy to collect all the good games and binge play them at one go. However, just make sure to do it over Facebook or other social platforms and not through the official email! Lastly, I would like to share one of my favourite quotes that I use to remind myself – Expect Nothing, Appreciate Everything. It reminds me that I should always appreciate every life challenge and embraces every mistake and fault I made in the past because these shape the current me.

Hello, my name is Muhammad Prima Cakra Randana. And you can call me Prima. A fifth-year medical student class of 2014. From Palembang, Indonesia. Currently, I am trusted as Liaison Officer to Asia-Pacific Dental Students Association (APDSA). I have been active in AMSA since my second year. By becoming executive board (Secretary of Academic and Research) in a local university and national team (Academic Team) in a local chapter. My experience before was academic-related. I have joined seven national (chapter) event. Especially in Indonesia Medical Students’ Training and Competition 2016, my team submitted a scientific poster and chosen as top 10 finalist. In 2017/18 AMSA International tenure, I have been elected as LO to Association of Medical Doctor of Asia (AMDA). Also, a part of the Executive Committee. I have attended two International Conferences. It was AMSC 2016 Philippines and AMDA Conference for Asian Chapters 2018.

For several occasion, I have been invited by my AMSA local university to be the speaker. I am proud and happy to be involved in AMSA. There are so many lessons taught by AMSA. Either by the local university, local chapter, or AMSA International. Today, I loved to share with my university-mate about AMSA.

I love watching soccer games. Both the national team and club managed to attract my interest. Chelsea and Barcelona are my favourite soccer club. Actually, I am a loyal supporter. But so rarely I have a jersey or any kind of soccer stuff. Then, my soccer’s skill is really bad. Simply I could do no more than passing and shooting. Lastly, I forgot when I starting to love soccer 😊.
