AMSA BIG Family Day 2020

Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) Big Family Day is a series of events by Asian Medical Students’ Association (AMSA) International in collaboration with Asian Medical Students’ Association Alumni Club (AMSAAC) with the theme “ Live, Laugh and Love”.

The event aims to bring the members – medical students and alumni – medical professionals, together amidst the global pandemic Covid-19; to foster bonding and interactions. The virtual event spans over three Saturdays of August – 8th, 15th and 22nd of August, 2020. A perfect line-up of alumni of different professions is all set to meet the event’s objectives.

What’s better?! We will be having our very first AMSA Hackathon on the 22nd of August, 2020.

World Antibiotic Awareness Week

World Antibiotic Awareness WeekAntibiotic resistance is now one of the biggest threats to global health, food security, and development. It is caused by the change of bacteria in response to the use of antibiotics, and leads to higher medical costs, prolonged hospital stays, and even increased mortality.

Researchers are struggling to develop new medicines, but without behaviour change of people, antibiotic resistance will remain a major threat. Let’s take the first step in behaviour change by spreading our infographic worldwide!

Do not also miss the chance to share your work in the competition regarding World Antibiotic Awareness Week held by AMSA International. The submission will start on December 19th 2016. Stay tuned!
